TeacherTube - like YouTube, TeacherTube archives uploaded video, but it is primarily education-oriented, and also stores uploaded files and documents to support the video. Videos may be downloaded to your own computer. There are many useful "how-to" videos as well as demonstrations, lesson plans, ppt presentations, etc., at this site. Videos are user-policed to help provide some safeguards against porn. Check out Graham Stanley's video, Language Learning and Web 2.0, which describes blogs, wikis, podcasting, and Second Life.



How EVO Differs - a brief description of how a volunteer PD program, TESOL's CALL IS Electronic Village Online operates. Many of the tips are valid for paid PD also.
